After the holiday blow out!

Well i'm back into it today. Even though we came home yesterday the day started off badly with a croissant so i foolishly decided to blow out the rest of the day too, eating a bacon and egg Mc Muffin, chippees, apple turnover, ciabatta bread for dinner and apple crumble and cream for dessert. Whew! And that was just yesterday, i cant even begin to list all i ate in the 6 days off the Dukan.

I can say though, that i spent most of these days feeling ill and full which is not something you feel on the Dukan! It was nice to enjoy bad food and not to annoy anyone with my health food habits, so it worked out okay. And i was pleased to discover this morning that i have only put on 1.8kg over those 6 days.

Pheweee! I was truly expecting at least 3kg. Today has been the mad protein day, with oatbran/yogurt, chicken and a boiled egg for lunch, i will have a half a protein bar for afternoon tea and 300gm fish for dinner. I have already drunk more than 1.5litres fluid and it is only 2pm. Been for a 45min run, a 35min run, a 25 min walk and 30min pilates. Also have done 200 sit ups. Am tired now and think maybe will have to watch a movie with the kids. I will however do another run before dinner, anything over 30mins will do nicely!
I have to be hard on myself today, if i lose even half of what i put on i will be super happy. But at the end of the day i knowingly ate like a true pig for 6 days straight and i have to accept the consequences don't i, if the scales don't shift as much as i'd like tomorrow. Bring it on so i can find out!!!

Have my Mums birthday BBQ tomorrow, they are staying up here for 5 days. Glad to see them- i will have to work hard though because they are junk food lovers. i even associate good family times with food- when i see them i am constantly planning meals and snacks. but this time i need to stay on track as best i can- maybe just a mouthful of birthday cake. i'm sure there will be meat and eggs i can eat! Good luck to me...
